At The Village Bank’s annual meeting held in May, president and CEO Joseph De Vito announced the following officer promotions:

Slater Cram was promoted to vice president/digital banking manager. Cram joined the Bank in August 2006 as a teller in Waban. He held several retail positions, and in May 2015, he was promoted to assistant treasurer/branch manager. In May 2018, he was promoted to assistant vice president/branch manager, and in January 2021, he was promoted to digital banking manager. Slater is a graduate of Boston College and completed The Village Bank’s Leadership Academy Program in December 2019.

Nicole Jencunas was promoted to vice president/core systems manager. Jencunas joined the Bank in March 2009 as a teller supervisor in Newtonville. She completed the Bank’s Management Training Program in 2010 and received several promotions, including to assistant treasurer/business process analyst in 2014. She became assistant vice president/core systems manager in June 2020. Jencunas is a graduate of Arizona State University and has an MBA from the New England College of Business.

June Hudnall was promoted to assistant vice president/mortgage loan officer. Hudnall joined the Bank in June 2016 as a mortgage lending specialist. In September 2020, she was promoted to assistant treasurer/mortgage lending specialist. She previously held the positions of assistant store manager and financial services representative at TD Bank at various locations. She is a graduate of Framingham State University and has taken MBA courses in management at Clark University.

Lula Kiflit was promoted to assistant vice president/retail lending coordinator. Kiflit joined The Bank in May 2002 as a loan servicing specialist. In April 2011, she was promoted to retail lending coordinator and in May 2017 to assistant treasurer/retail lending coordinator. She previously worked as a loan administrator at Sanwa Bank in Boston and as an administrative assistant for the City of Newton’s planning and development department. She has a business management degree from Mount Ida College.

Richard Lebreux was promoted to assistant vice president/credit operations manager. Lebreux joined the Bank in August 2008 as a teller in Nonantum. He held several retail positions until January 2013 when he was selected as a candidate for the Credit Analyst Trainee position. He moved up the ranks in the credit department and in July 2018 was promoted to credit operations manager, then to assistant treasurer in 2020. He has degrees from Nipissing University in Ontario and the University of Manitoba.

Valdet Abazi was promoted to assistant treasurer/branch manager. Abazi joined the Bank in March 2021 as branch manager in Newton Centre. Previously he worked at People’s United Bank and was an assistant branch manager at East Boston Savings Bank. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Pristina in Kosovo.

Jeidy Batista was promoted to assistant treasurer/operations manager. Batista joined the Bank in September 2014 as a teller in Waban. In May 2016, she was selected for the Bank’s Management Training Program, and upon completion was promoted to retail banking coordinator. In July 2020, she was promoted to operations manager. Batista is a graduate of a Regis College, completed the Bank’s Supervisor Training Program in May 2016 and the Manager Training Series in January 2021.

Raymond LaMacchia was promoted to assistant treasurer/residential real estate specialist. LaMacchia joined the Bank in April 2020 as a residential real estate specialist. He previously held the positions of real estate operations manager at USAlliance Federal Credit Union, and vice president of lending at Equitable Bank and Stoneham Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union. He holds an associate degree in business administration from North Shore Community College.

Karla Snyder was promoted to assistant treasurer/senior mortgage underwriter. Snyder joined the Bank is April 2012 as a mortgage underwriter. In June 2018, she was promoted to senior mortgage underwriter. Before joining The Village Bank, Snyder held the positions of loan processor at Custom Financial Mortgage Co. in Hingham and underwriter at Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp. in Braintree and BayBank Mortgage Corp in Westwood.
