The Boston Business Journal (BBJ) has named The Village Bank an honoree in its annual 2025 Corporate Citizenship Awards, a recognition of the region’s top corporate charitable contributors.
As a recognized honoree, The Village Bank, and the other companies listed, reported at least $100,000 in cash contributions to Massachusetts-based charities in 2024. This year, 99 companies have qualified for distinction, and collectively, they gave more than $416 million in cash contributions. The Village Bank is receiving the award for the second straight year.
“Giving back to the communities we serve is a big part of The Village Bank’s identity,” said Joe De Vito, president and CEO of The Village Bank. “These organizations have an everlasting impact on the lives of neighbors, and it’s an honor to help them strengthen their missions and our relationships.”
The Business Journal annually publishes this list to showcase companies that promote and prioritize giving back to their communities. The Village Bank, along with the other honorees, will be honored at the BBJ’s 20th Annual Corporate Citizenship Awards on Wednesday, September 10, from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm at Big Night Live (110 Causeway St, Boston).
