Joseph De Vito, president and CEO of The Village Bank, has announced the hiring of Paul Brassil as vice president/information security.
Brassil joins the Bank after three years as senior vice president and chief information officer at Pawtucket Credit Union. He previously was CIO at Commonwealth Medicine and vice president of information technology at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
Brassil was raised in Walpole and graduated from Walpole High School. He attended Bridgewater State University, where he received a degree in business administration. The Medfield resident also received a Master of Science degree in computer information systems from Bentley University.
In his new role role, Brassil will oversee the design, implementation, and sustainment of the Bank’s cybersecurity programs and initiatives.
