I have lived in Newton all my life and have been with the bank for years. I have a checking, savings account and had mortgages with them. They have grown with the times and the changes with technology. I’m 77 years old (and still working) and I have grown with them. I now pay all my bills online. Wow, what a time saver, and user friendly and easy to use. If I have any questions, I feel at home to go in and ask them. They are like family and for a senior citizen, it’s nice to know you can just walk in and ask a question and feel at ease. The Village Bank forever!

This is a great local bank. On more than one occasion, a manager has called me to tell me that a transaction came in that would leave my account overdrawn to give me a chance to rectify the situation before any check was returned or fees incurred. Compare that to the big banks that reorder transactions in order to charge as many overdraft fees as possible. I love this bank!
