Meet Michelle, Manager, Customer Care Center
My name is Michelle Tossi. I’ve been a Village Banker for 12 years. I’m the manager in the customer care call center and I like to spend time with my family and I love animals.
What is rewarding about being a Village Banker?
I love to help our customers and be able to set their minds at ease. When we have them call and they’re anxious and afraid something’s gone on with their account. Just being able to talk to them off the ledge and get them to a point of being comfortable that everything in their account is okay. And if it’s not okay, Village Bankers are gonna make it okay. I also really love being a part of the community, volunteering in our local neighborhoods, in our villages, and just being able to connect with our customers outside of the office. It’s fun and it helps us build relationships with those customers.
How do you live the pledge?
I live the pledge every day by treating our customers like family. You’re not a number here. You’re a person. We know all of our customers’ names. We know their dogs, we know their kids, so we just treat everyone the way they want to be treated. We treat them like family.
What would you like people to know about The Village Bank?
I would like people to know that The Village Bank always has its customer’s best interest at heart.
That our people are at the heart of what we do, and that we always stand by our values. We’re always going to do what’s right.
