Meet Clarice, Vice President of Digital Banking

My name is Clarice Francis. I’m the Vice President of Digital Banking. I joined Village Bank last May, and I’ve been in banking for over 17 years and out of those 15 years working with digital banking. 

What does it mean to be a Village Banker?

To be a Village Banker. It means to be part of a culture of service where we serve our customers, we serve our communities, but we also serve each other, serving our teams and our fellow Village Bankers.

How do you live the pledge? 

I believe that the pledge makes the service culture real. For example, when we are prioritizing resources or researching new products or solutions, the pledge sets, the bar, we take in consideration our customers, is this going to deliver the services we want? Are we taking care of them how we are supposed to? And how we pledge through our services and products.

How do you and your team help your customers? 

Our digital banking team has three digital banking specialists and myself. Our specialists are very talented and they have experience in retail banking, business and retail digital banking, as well as direct customer service support. And we believe that to be a perfect combination to deliver digital banking service to our customers in a way that it’s easy to understand. Meet our customers where they are, as well as meeting the level of sophistications that our customers require. Our team ensures the efficiencies of background processes for all our digital products, and also provide direct customer support for our cash management customers. I am very happy to be part of this team and very proud of how we work together to, at the end of the day, find a solution for our customers and deliver the best service possible.
