Our website has been designed with the goal of meeting WCAG 2.2 Level A & AA standards.
Testing of our website is performed by our accessibility experts using industry-standard tools such as Accessibility Checker, WAVE, screen readers, color contrast analyzers, keyboard-only navigation techniques, and Flesch-Kincaid readability tests. The site is also tested regularly with SiteImprove.
Accessibility features on our site include, but are not limited to:
- Brand colors have been selected for color contrast to meet or exceed AA requirements.
- Skip navigation links have been incorporated to facilitate keyboard navigation and to bypass content on a page, allowing users to jump directly to the content of the page.
- All non-decorative images and non-text elements have appropriate alternative text associated with them.
- Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) screen-reader only text is present when links, buttons, icons, or images require additional context to understand their meaning.
- All videos on our site include closed captioning and transcripts.
- A notification is provided for links which open into a new window or tab.

Handicap parking is available at all locations. Members of The Village Bank team are available to provide assistance including helping with opening an account, applying for a loan, reviewing account information, and more.
The Village Bank ATMs allow the choice of viewing account information on the screen or using the talking mode to conduct transactions.
