We are happy to introduce you to an exciting tool within Village Online Banking. Credit Sense is a credit monitoring service that will help you keep tabs on your credit, your credit reports, and your credit score. It’s a free service provided to all Village Bank customers.
To sign up, log into Village Online Banking, and simply click the credit score tab along the top menu. Read through and accept the authorization and click continue. Once you’ve entered the portal, you’ll be presented with your credit score along with an analysis of how your score is assembled.
This analysis includes your payment history, credit usage, account mix, credit age, and inquiries on your credit. Each portion of the analysis also gives you a grade so you can see what areas of your credit could use improvement. The top menu within Credit Sense also presents you with some helpful features. Alerts where you can set up notifications when there are updates to your credit and resources where you will find tips to increase your credit score and optimize your financial health.
